Light weight plastic construction but for the price a great value. I experimented with a old retired chain, it is now useable, been sharpened by a lawn and garden shop that returned it eaten up, 75% of the teeth gone and what was left cut at such a angle it bound up the bar, I'd never used a sharpener other than a rat tail file. Amazed how well this plastic wonder actually worked.

only mild complaint is the quality of the grinding stones. once you sharpen around 10 chains the edges of the wheel feel smooth and sharpening become a bit more tedious. please post spare grind wheels. great product.

It works for if you sharpen an occasional chain but will not be good to sharpen many for a long period of time. A lot of plastic which is expected these days with cheaper tools.Instructions with it lack in my opinion but figured it out and have used it a few times but will be looking for a more severe duty use one in the future.

This is a great little sharpener for the price. Of course it won’t last as long as the $300 model, but it sharpens a chain just as well if you know what you’re doing. Read the instructions carefully if you’ve never sharpened with an electric sharpener before. You could damage your chain.

It's just not good quality,, the chain stop with the plastic flexs , the grinder head flexs as well ,, when you feed the chain forward the next tooth catches the chain stop everytime it's worth the money for a guy that don't cut much wood ,, it cost 9 dollars to take a chain in so sharpen 4 chains and your saving money
