Works exactly as advertised. Very easy to set up. One issue I had though was that I live in an area with very hard clay ground and rocky soil. I had to use a spade to make sure the two sides where the scissors went into the ground was clear. If I did not do this, when the trap sprung it would have a hard time cutting through the tough soil or would get caught on a rock. After this adjustment I was capturing moles in no time.

My lawn is over run with moles and I tried everything I can think of. Bought this as it looked easy to use and had great reviews. I had it over a month now and haven't caught not even one mole

Best I've tried. Pet safe and requires no hole digging. The only thing that would improve this is a lower price, but the results prove the value. It's a quality made piece that should last a lifetime. I cut a 1 gal milk jig in half as a cover to help hide it from 2 legged varmints when it's in my front yard.

Excellent concept. For an able bodied person, you can't beat it. However, I had to devise a method of setting this trap by hand. I'm over 80 years old and my balance isn't that good. I made a devise that enables me to use my upper body to set the trap. It presses down on both ends of the ring surrounding the trap.

These work great, in hard hard ground these are hard to set , need to knife or pre set with a spade so the tines will scissor cut , I have two and they are much better than the old plunger type. I’m glad I went this route,
