Bought this for myself to limb with and for my 14 year old daughter that's been bugging me about wanting her own saw. Pulled the limiter caps off carburetor and cut the catalytic converter out of the muffler and opened up the exhaust hole some before I ever started it. After two tanks of gas I retuned carb and man will this little saw fly! My daughter loves it and cut a little over a cord of firewood with it so far. I have several pro saws and it is so nice to use this one on the small stuff. When I'm using it I use a Stihl 63ps (full chisel) chain on it and i't amazing how fast it cuts. The only things I don't like about it is both the gas and oil caps are VERY small and it's just about impossible to refuel and add oil without spilling and getting it all over the saw. The other problem is more of a big deal and that is the air filter is a stupid design and lets dirt particles into the carb. Echo needs to address this!! You just twist the air filter on and off but it doesn't seal off well. For now I made a gasket out of gasket material and its working but makes getting filter on difficult. I will get a small o ring and I think that will do the trick. Overall it's a very nice saw and would recommend to anyone.Read full review
