IF I live long enough to wear it out. None of my local stores sell this type of COB LED in intermediate base - so its rare. I bought 2 on Ebay for a total OF $4. WITH FREE SHIPPING. The bulb in the desk light it replaced was a HOT incandescent, & it spit when it blew. This Cob LED has a clear white light, & is cool to the touch , uses next to no energy, & should last years. What's not to love ? Maybe they will someday start making & selling these here in the USA. As it is - I got a super deal & great service from China, the LED capital of the world.

I have one of the old "High Intensity" table lamps that use the 117v E-17 bulb. Gives just enough light to read a book by at night without lighting up the room. Cool white makes book letters stand out in high contrast. The warm white might be more pleasant if you aren't reading or have better eyes.

This bulb works perfectly! I have it under my microwave and I was slightly worried because I read a lot of led bulbs flicker when on the low setting but this one doesn't. Not with my microwave anyways. Great deal, no doubt!

The bulbs are well built, screw in perfectly, and have great light. But they are listed as being dimable. Most of "over the range" microwaves take this bulb, and the way Whirlpool microwaves dual lights work is they split the voltage in half by switching both bulbs from parallel to series circuit. So the bulbs get 60 volts AC rather than 120. These bulbs do not like 60 volts and they are barely lit and flicker slightly.
