This lock couldn't be simplier..but..it has a bad flaw..it is attached with weak double sided tape. Within one day it had pulled off the fridge. Most fridges have the door stick out beyond the side of the fridge by a little bit. So even if the handle breaks you can open the door. This means the locks longer piece is pulled at an angle away from the fridge side. So the tape fails right away. I used my own 3M Super strong double sided tape to re-attach the long piece. It also didn't hold up long. But...the idea was to train my 20 month old that he couldn't open the door. And keeping an eye on this system means it has worked. So be aware..this can work..but the tape is weak...you will need more of your own.

This actually doesn't have to be screwed in. You remove paper from sticky part and stick on any item. I bought this because I have a 2 year old that was pulling open our other child locks and was into everything. This product actually has a latch so it doesn't just slide out like our other "child safety lock". Very well made easy to assemble very efficient. I would highly recommend this product to any parent with little ones.

The concept is great - the adhesive, not so much. Our little guy pulled open the refrigerator and pulled the latch right off!!!

Wonderful product easy to use for the adults, especially opening the fridge one handed but hard for the kids to use.

In pictures it shows something different but in real it’s such a bad quality not worth it in 10 dollars. It shouldn’t be more then two dollars
