My 7-year-old daughter loves to draw, and Lee Ames' books have given her another tool she can use in developing her own technique. This book includes step-by-step instructions for drawing not only different breeds of horses, but also horses from different views and in different poses. We have other how-to-draw books where there is a huge gap between the 2nd-to-the-last step and the final picture. Not so with this book. If you follow all the steps, your final picture will look pretty much like his.
My granddaughters love these.

My daughters art teacher used this book for a class. My daughter loved it. She is quite an artist at age 11. She has used the book alot. And you should see her pictures they are beautiful. If I new how to download one of her pictures to show you what she has learned from the book I would.
Someone recommended that I buy this for my daughter as she loves to draw horses. I like that it teaches how to draw different breeds of horses. However, it wasn't quite as impressive as I had expected.
