Better than sex, kinda.
I completely misjudged the Donner brand... again. This inexpensive power supply does the exact same thing as models that are twice the price. It can handle not only 9v pedals but also two additional 18v pedals. There is zero noise; no buzz, no harmonic hum. Nothing. Totally worth every penny. You can't go wrong with the DP-1

Before you spend big on other brands, try the Donner first.
I've got a board with 10 pedals and I used the Donner to power 8 of them (I don't have any 12v pedals.) I plugged the out of my board into an Line 6 Pod with a totally clean sound, then listened with headphones for any detectable noise. I even moved the Donner brick around and pushed it right up against my pedals. Then A/B through the pedal board then bypassing the board completely. My findings? ZERO NOISE. After thorough testing I've found it to be completely quite. And the pedals seem to have the proper amount of power. You gotta try the Donner first for $35 and see if it works for you. The other brands are just too expensive (at least for me.) If the Donner works GO WITH IT AND SAVE THE MONEY! It's working for me so far. I just ordered a second one to power the rest of my pedals.

Great power Brick for the price
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with this power brick. No non working cables, mounts right up to pedal board and simply plug it in. Great for musicians on a budget. But I work 4 nights a week 7:00 pm till closing I haven’t had a noise, power, cutting off problem yet with 13 pedal on my board and the club has light shows plugged up as we play . 2 have adapters on them .
