    Punches above its Class

    While it isn't a Strat or even a Squire Strat it is a good guitar. Note I said good guitar not great guitar. I picked this up for under $100. It plays and sounds great with a little set up. Mine came set up pretty close. Definitely benefits from new strings, I used Ernie Ball Slinky 9's and it sounds very good. Decent sustain, no sharp fret edges, tuners are cheap but hold tune well. Plugged into my Fender Champion 20 this little axe will make some very good music! Great deal for the price.

    great strat style guitar! Throw some better pickups in it and it's pretty much good to go, although a few tweaks to the relief, string height and intonation helped immensely, but not before installing a new set of strings. That's the 1st thing to change..
