Our daughter needed a new vacuum for her apartment. We ordered the Dirt Devil expecting to give it to her. Upon using it, my wife and I decided to give her our Shark Vacuum instead. The Dirt Devil is lighter and picks up dirt much better. For the price, this is a great vacuum.

I have used the Dirt Devil line for decades. This new one is incredible! That being said, the company has informed me that the belt is not available for purchase. So, they want to replace the entire unit. I would have to do this every time it breaks. If you can put one on during the assembly process, why are you not selling the belt? How dare you continue to sell this product knowing full well that this part cannot be purchased. Love this sweeper, but seriously? I have the email from the company relating this fact.

I prefer a belt driven turbo tool accessory, it has more. power than an air driven one, consider it more of a personal preference rather than a shortcoming. I found the Dirt Devil to be an excellent choice.
