while putting it over the grill, its a slight tight, and I was aware of that reading all other reviews. I was care while putting it on, and it still got a 5 inch tear along the back where it went over one of the corners. its pretty low on the cover, and may not affect it, however the quality of material bot very good. goes to show you, you get what you pay for....lesson learned

After reading all the glowing reviews, this seemed like a pretty good bet. It isn't. After one week the material has already torn, and the poor placement of the velcro that secures the cover at the bottom allows a strong wind to pull the cover right off. Add to that the shoddy seams that don't line up, making it look like a failed homemade attempt, and you have a regrettable purchase. Don't waste your money on this garbage!

It seems to fit better than the original cover from Weber that cost me $56. The original cover got brittle and cracked all over. This new cover is very soft and fits great. The sides are a bit bigger which helps securing the velcro taps. I bought two because I have two Weber genesis gold grills!!

Why anyone would buy the original branded one unless they must have the name emblazoned on i, beats me, This one is of excellent quality and easier to put on and take off. at much less money. I'm delighted to have found it.

It technically fits, but poorly. It's snug and an inch or two small on width and depth for my Genesis Gold grill. It's going to rip after being in the sun for a few months; I can tell already. I should've spent the extra and got the Webber branded one.
