This digital power meter displays voltage, current and power being delivered to a load. It's very useful for many electrical projects. But CAUTION! The max input voltage is 60 volts, max current flow is 100 amps. So do not connect this to household outlets which operate at 110volts. It's well suited for monitoring inputs and outputs to battery chargers, for example, as long as you respect total input voltage and current limits.

As is often the case with the inexpensive plastic watt meters, this unit provides consistent output, but with no way to calibrate it you will have no idea whether the reading is accurate or not without some sort of confirmation of its readings from an external device. In my case, the voltage reading is off by over a full volt. Additionally, The one photo with numbers on the meter shows a backlit display. That is either photoshopped to make it look backlit when it isn't, or my meter's backlighting failed to ever work, rendering it difficult to read. Lastly, the meter's wiring pigtails are only 14 gauge, so don't use it on anything anywhere near its purported amperage rating. If it was an accurate meter, it would be just fine to monitor a charging battery but nothing more.

There was very poor accuracy over the lower voltage ( 8 volts) and low current ( 2 Amps) ranges. It required more that the advertised 4 volts for it to operate. I need to to supply 7.5 volts before it would work properly.

Was looking for a meter for amateur radio that wouldn't break the bank. Good basic meter. Put some powerpoles on, and it works great. Would like backlighting, but that would draw power.

Meter works good for checking amps and watts so all good there my problem is the meter has no back light so trying to read the display is hit or miss at best so with the display hard to see unless you move the meter around to get the right viewing angle it is pretty much useless so with that I can't recommend this meter pay a little more and get one with a back light on the display
