    Perfect size for me.

This is the second replacement of my original. I love the size of these Photo 720. It was a little difficult connecting to the computer - maybe because that is so old also. Of course the first thing to go is the paper guide which breaks when you try to reset for paper size, but at least that does not affect the printing.

    My review of this Printer.

Seems Dell had issues with this color inkjet printer! Ink gotten for this works, maybe 30/70% of the time!

  • Dell Inkjet 720 Printer

Dell gives this printer away with a lot of the computers it sells. Why? Dell hopes to make money off the very profitable ink cartridges. All of Dell's printers are made by Lexmark, and like Lexmark printers they tend to require very expensive ink. If you don't print much, that's probably OK. I don't actually own this printer, but as far as I know its print quality is just fine. Drawbacks? Just the high price of ink. If you print a lot, look into getting a Canon or Epson. These manufacturers sell replacement ink that doesn't include a new print head, making the ink cheaper to buy. Even less expensive are third-party "compatible" ink cartridges that sell for $3 or so. The quality might be a tad bit lower than the real stuff, but it's a whole lot cheaper. I personally use a Canon Pixma ...

  • Got What I Paid For!

I purchased this item because my existing printer was not compatable with my new Dell computer - thus I purchased the printer by Dell to be sure it would interact with the new computer. I wasn't sure if the computer were faulty, or if the soft was incompatable, and so I purchased this printer based purely on price. I go what I paid for, but not really happy with the printer. It's slow. I can't switch screens until the printer begins print the page, or the page does not print. I don't care for the rear feed....but, it does not jam, and for the price it's a great printer. If I'd been sure the fault was with the software and not the computer, I would have purchased a more expensive printer. I really like Hewlett Packard printers (have many at my office and have always purchased them for ...

  • Dell 720 Printer

I recently had the need to replace my Dell 720 printer that was purchased five years ago with my computer. After several hours research, I decided that the best replacement was one of like kind! This printer is used both for personal and business printing in black and white and on rare occasion, printing photos using colored ink. The printer is user friendly; easily put into service from right out of the box; print quality is clear and crisp with very few paper jams. My only negative concerns the ink cartridges; life of the black and white cartridge is good, but that of the color cartridge is below my expectations. However, my main disappointment is the price that Dell charges for replacement cartridges; luckily, you can now pick up a third-party cartridge for much less cost, and they ...
