Bought for a CNC mill retrofit. Touch is 'old-style' kiosk - nothing like an iPad, but works well for what it is and what I expected. Build quality is good. Plugged and played just fine as a monitor in Linux/Debian but the touchscreen was uncalibrated. After using xinput calibration and axis inversion, works great. Especially loved the included mounting brackets.

The screen is covered by dark glass, which results in low resolution, especially it's hard to see clear image from angels. As for the monitor, it seems quite OK so far.

I really like my product. It was the size I wanted and it solved the problem that I was trying to solve. I use my monitor for my work - I work at home - and with my old monitor which was a CRT, was presenting problems with my work software - because of resolution requirements, I wasn't able to read the print on some of the software as it was too small. Once I got my new monitor, I was able to read the software that I had not been able to read on the other monitor. I haven't found anything that I don't like about it. This is my first LCD monitor so I don't know how it compares to others, except that it isn't widescreen and I really like the size of it. It fits on my desk and everything is readable and I am able to display most any software on it. Mary Anne Ahmad
Great original monitor from Dell. I like this screen aspect because I am using it as a monitor with a dental Eaglesoft program. This aspect ratio renders the image perfectly.

While getting the drivers and calibration software was difficult, it performed quite well after that was properly set up. There was some signs of repeated touchscreen usage (wear on the overlay at specific points) it is still very clear and usable.
