Delkevic Honda Valkyrie exhaust for the Standard Honda Valkyrie
Installed the Delkevic Honda Valkyrie exhaust system last week , the install went as about expected , I have been a Honda Motorcycle Mechanic for 40 years and have installed systems from Two Brothers Racing , Cobra , and Jardine and now the Delkevic (latest ) on Honda Valkyries . This system was very close the the Two Brothers racing system except it does not have a cross over pipe that connects both collectors together side to side , you will need to space out the brake pedal / master cylinder assembly away from the frame as it will make contact with the right collector and you will need to space out the muffler mounts in the rear as well or your headers and connector pipes will make contact with the engine block on the right and the left will make contact with the side stand ... The sound from this exhaust is great , a little more sound but not too much more over stock , especially at highway cruising speeds . I would like to see a one piece header / collector to eliminate the chance of exhaust leakage later on if the high temp silicone seal goes away . This one of the only exhaust systems out there for the Valkyrie and I am glad they are making it as the Honda ones are being discontinued , the left side exhaust from Honda are now discontinued .
