Bought for home shop use
I bought this impact for use in my home shop. I compared prices of other brands, and knowing that I would not be using this gun everyday, I opted for DeWalt. The guns overall weight is reasonable, it packs a lot of punch for its size, feels sturdy in your hand, the noise level for short term use is very good, and the price is competitive with other brands that have about the same torque as this gun. I have always had good performance out of DeWalt tools in my home shop, some of which are used daily and on huge projects.
