Another awesome power tool from Dewalt! I needed a torque wrench to remove lugnuts on my vehicles instead of using the gut busting 4way lugwrench. This DCF899 doesn't even flinch. Dewalt DCF899M1 20v XR Impact Wrench
Awesome piece of equipment. I used this to remove some lug nuts on a motorhome with 19.5 tires that are supposed to be torqued to 175 ft lbs. We all know how well repair shops adhere to using a torque wrench on lug nuts. I could not get these lug nuts off using a 1/2 in air gun. Big power in a small but heavy package...
Arrived in the morning, charged the battery and then took the next 15 minutes to do a tire rotation on the wife's Honda Pilot. This impact wrench is extremely powerful. Had no problem removing the lugs with highest power setting selected, but I had to reduce the power to the middle setting to tighten the bolts in case I have to remove the lugs using my 4-way tire wrench... Then I took it over to my brothers and removed his cutting blades on his Bush-Hog without any effort. I did this using the 4amp XR battery.. If youve ever found yourself in the Milwaukee vs Dewalt conversation use the M1 series before you decide. Why did I wait so long to buy a powered impact wrench?
I am 64 and never bought an impact wrench before because?? I just changed out the tires on 3 4 wheelers, 12 tires total, and the easiest part of the job was removing and replacing the tires on the vehicles because of this tool. The battery still shows 75% plus charge. Nice 3 step torque adjustment. I used the middle for all tires, but did not tighten the bolts too far, I will use a manual torque wrench to finish. I bought this to carry with me in my 1 ton truck with which I tow a 5th wheel. I had a tire destroyed by road debris on my truck in 105 degree heat and had to change the tire with hand tools a couple of months ago. That was when I decided to buy a battery the impact wrench.. Really happy I did. I can't speak to how it will do on the higher torque truck or trailer tires but it had 0 trouble on the middle setting on the 4 wheelers.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

For a battery powered Impact Wrench, these are the best that I have tried so far. It broke loose original factory installed blades on a Bad Boy mower, which traditionally is a pain in the patootie!
