It has lots of useful features, more than I expected for an inexpensive thermostat and is working great in my application to control high temperature limit of a hot tub... It saves its settings even when powered down which is perfect for solar-direct application that I am using. It also allows programming for set point, hysteresis differential, calibration of thermistor +/- 9 deg, and various alarms. Great product for the price and quick delivery.

    Inexpensive and it Works!

    I bought this to control the Peltier chip in my DIY built cooler for my ZWO ASI178 telescope camera. I was pleased that it worked just as expected. The included wiring diagram while just a simple graphic was easy to understand . To make perfect I wish it had better than a 1 degree set point variance between when it shuts off and starts current again and I wish it could be set to Celsius as well as Fahrenheit, but even without these features I am very satisfied with my purchase. A good value for the money.

    Full-featured digital thermostat - great value

    This thermostat is better than I expected. Has multiple extra useful features, for example allows you to calibrate the temp probe (thermistor) +/- 9 deg. It also saves the calibration and temp settings even when it loses power which was perfect for my application (direct PV solar power with no battery)...

    these things are great

    These handy little T-stats are great if your building your own climate control system. I've integrated two of these into my greenhouse to control intake and exhaust fans. the 10A contact rating doest what i need it to. They are easy to set up with a little electrical know-how. The instructions are pretty terrible but you can get through it if you read and think about the broken english that its written in. Working good after a week. we'll see how they hold up

    Does the job

    This is the 3rd thermostat controller that works. The 1st is completely dead. The 2nd (same controller with C) allow me to set settings but does not do anything. What is good about this thermostat controller is that I can set and read temperatures in F. The instruction paper that came with it was extremely helpful and easy to understand. I'm using it to control the peltier cooling module + fans to prevent the cooler box from getting warm or too cold.

    Nice affordable temperature controller

    This is a very nice temperature controller for the money. It seems to work well. It is set up to heat and cool. It's very simple to use. The relay for the heater/cooler does not switch polarity. I set mine up with a double throw switch so I can reverse the polarity of my Peltier (thermoelectric device) when I switch between heating and cooling. The only other thing that is inconvenient is that you have to switch between heating and cooling mode. It would be simpler to use if it were simply continuous temperature control. Most people probably only want to heat (fish tank) or cool (refrigerator). So, maybe it's not an issue for most.
