These strings are nice and bouncy, if you will. they have a nice texture and light to do some bends if wanted. The price is right and the product is great........D'Addario.......name of guitar string choice!!

I've never had an issue with this guitar, and having recently changed strings on a number of guitars, I don't believe it is operator error. But these darn strings will NOT stay in tune. They've been on the guitar for almost a month, and they are consistently and significantly out of tune when I pick up the guitar. I don't know what "regular" tension is, but I've never had this problem before.

Overall, I like the DA classical guitar strings. I cannot give an in depth review because unfortunately, not long after I installed the strings on a classical guitar, the bridge lifted off from the guitar top. I want to emphasize that this event has nothing to do with the strings themselves. The guitar is a recent purchase from Ebay, and it is over 50 years old. Apparently, sometime during its life, the guitar lost the bridge, and it was reattached by someone by using cyanoacrilate (Super Glue). Nevertheless, the strings had good tone and sustain, although they would probably not be suitable for recital work.

If you are looking for a really "bright" "big" sound these strings won't deliver However, they are smooth to finger, produce a very lovely soft sound and, in my opinion, are great for acoustic voice back up.

I've been using D'addario classic guitar strings for many years and they are great. These strings stay in tune and last a long time even if you play them everyday and the price is right.
