Excellent quality product!
I waited to buy this for over a year because I couldn't warrant buying a $90 humidifier control for my $20 humidifier. However, now that it went on sale, I finally purchased one and I am glad I did! The display is easy to read (I wish it was backlit though, I have to use a flashlight to read it), the controls are simple and it just works! Now my bedroom is always at a nice 45% RH without any effort on my part. The little hole above 80% is actually a light that turns green when the unit is on. A real humidistat for your humidifier!
This is the perfect accessory for the ultrasonic unit that keeps my guitar room properly humidified. Under normal circumstance the built-in humidistat is very unreliable, but this Dayton unit works. It would be evn better if I had an outlet 48" off the ground on an interior wall so that it would work best, but for the time being it's make sure that the room doesn't get too humid overnight when the wood stove dies down.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
