    Good strings for the money

    I bought these strings to freshen up a guitar I was selling. I didn't want to spend a lot because everyone has their own tastes in strings. It's frustrating when someone buys a guitar I've restrung, and they say the first thing they'll do when they get home is change the strings. Such a waste. But it's difficult to sell a guitar with bad strings, and impossible to sell one with no strings. So I install some medium gauge, medium quality strings that perform well for the average player. These nickel wound strings do the job. They look good, sound good, and play well at a reasonable cost.

    Works for me.

    I've found that I get better, more solid tone with heavier strings, but they have a tendency to tear my hands up and if I can't bend strings, my musical expression just goes away. So I've been using 11s and tuning them down to D. They feel good and sound good at the same time. And I've found that it works with women as well: I put 11s on 'em and tune 'em down to D. Works practically every time.

    The Best

    I'm a Fender Jaguar player. I love that guitar. I played many sets of strings on it and the one set that i always came back to was these. The 10's are great too. But the 11's seemed to stay in tune longer when working the trem.
