I've found this coffee maker a very nice blend of all the things at actually matter when a coffee is being brewed. After all it's hot water and ground coffee, right? Well over the years I've learned it much more about the temp and speed that hot water is being exposed to the ground coffee that determines the quality of the brew in your cup... This Maker seems to have the perfect balance of the features built into it that truly defines your brew process and the result is a perfect brew... I've owed coffee makers from the basic models well into the upper $500 range and none has impressed me as much as this unit. does have some bells and whistles but on this unit they actually matter and do make a difference in your cup of joe... Used this Cuisinart DCC-3200 unit for a week and turned around and bought a second backup unit. If you're looking for a perfect coffee maker that is a extremely good value, then what are you waiting for with this warranty. Don't take my word for it: try it yourself and if not satisfied return it. I'm betting you'll be ordering a second one just as I did... The only thing this nearly $100 coffee maker does better than my ancient $29 Mr Coffee machine is -look- better. The top cover/lid only opens to 90deg, and causes two problems: it makes the area to fill the reservoir with water tiny, and causes spills Every Time trying to navigate the large carafe in there...and the lid being in the way makes it nearly impossible to get all the fill water poured out of the carafe. It brews slower. The rectangular funnel shape filter bottom is hard to grasp for cleaning when wet. Instead of the plastic carafe lid operating on a hinge, you need to pop it off for cleaning/filling, so you have to wonder how many on/off cycles it will tolerate until it won't hold any more. In closing, Cusinart has had many years to perfect the coffeemaker. Odd how a cheaper brand 6-7yrs old functioned better than this new one.Read full review

Works well. Coffee tastes great. Like auto programming and not needing paper filters. Minor fixes, a flippable lid and a way that the water reservoir can dry/vent after brewing. Could find just as good of a coffee maker for less $$.

This is a great coffee maker-- auto off with several settings, stays hot, can adjust the stay warm time once brewed -and tastes great! This is our 2nd Cuisinart and the only issue with the first is a very small hole to put the water into requiring special large funnel measuring cup. The carafe is a bit tricky though and lends to spillage if you are not careful. Great product overall.
