It looks and feels kinda cheap. It's a hard plastic with sharp checkering. It's larger, longer, and flatter than the other Crimson trace grips for the chief special. I do like that it has an on-off switch that is easy to actuate, which is different from the other model that has a pressure switch that turns on the laser anytime that you grip the pistol, regardless of the lighting conditions. The price is more fair.

Grips are PLASTIC-This is the only draw back. I had to remove nice rubber to put this on. It does work as stated and if I wanted to spend twice as much I could have gotten better feeling grips. Overall, works well but could be better.

Very easy to install. The switch is easy to operate. I tested at 15 feet and it was right on the target. It works better than the handle squeeze switch which I installed on another hand gun and was much more expensive..

Hello perfect laser point for the S&W 642. Wanted something from my wife so if she had to protect yourself if you would not have to worry if she was aiming correctly. Do you make the same type of handle 44 magnum model 29 Sw

As a firearms instructor for Brinks armored car services I get to try different brand weapons and attachments, I have a small lightweight Smith&Wesson 38 special pocket revolver for personal carry gun.. I found this Crimson Trace red laser grip and am very impressed, not only does the laser work very well, the grip itself is a bit larger, so my big hands can now wrap all fingers.. stock grip was a lot shorter.. I can highly recommend this brand…
