There are several books out there on helping you prepare with the GED, and I can tell you, you won't go wrong with this one. It had been several years since I had attended any kind of schooling and I decided to look for a way to help me prepare to take the GED. I didn't know what I was getting myself into or how hard the test would actually be. I know there are classes you have to pay for and invest time in to help you prepare, but after reading already good reviews for this book, I decided to check it out. I received the book, studied it for a couple of weeks, took some notes for myself to help me remember some things (though the book is very helpful at the end of chapters to review key things) then went on to take the test. The book itself is very easy to comprehend, covers the subjects nicely and the practice tests at the end are very helpful and will build your confidenece for the real test. After studying for those couple of weeks, I passed my first attempt at the GED without having to retake a single test. Passed it with an equivalent of a 3.0-3.5 g.p.a. In conclusion, I was very happy with the book and am glad it was pretty much the first one I ran into.Read full review
