Love this vacuum but it sucks the life out of batteries like no other Ryobi product I've ever used. That is the only negative. I've only used 4 Ah batt. in her and they last about 15 mins. Haven't tried the 6 or 9 Ah battery yet but they should do just fine. The 9 Ah battery is so huge in size it should be just right for this power hungry beast. Would highly recommend this vacuum to anyone interested in a cord free vacuum. You hit a Home Run Ryobi!

Quality construction and light weight. The suction is not that impressive. So my only suggestion would be to look for a higher voltage battery maybe the suction would be adequate with that make and model

Cleverly designed unit, but very noisy. Plastic construction, without any noise-eliminating insulation. Definitely need to wear ear protection gear with this. Comes with a crevice tool and a brush, and has extension tubes for the hose. The hose stows conveniently on the outside, and the tubes and tools each have their own elastic loops for stowing them. The lid releases by way of 4 clips, so it is easy to empty. The filter sits right in the middle of the unit, easily accessible so it can be brushed off while the unit is disassembled for cleaning, and then placed back together for more use. I haven't tried using this vac for wet items, and really don't intend to in the future, so I can't say whether it works as intended there.

This vacuum works as you would expect. I'm in the Ryobi line and this does what I wanted. However, Ryobi does not make a Hepa filter for this machine--to pick up fine dust particles. This is strictly a debris vacuum. I rated it a 5 because that's what it advertises, and that's what it delivers. It's as portable as you can imagine, no cords. It's way quieter than my shopvac. I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend this product to a friend.

Very powerful and easy to use. Easy to carry or push on the built-in wheels. I like that it takes the same battery as my other Ryobi tools. The canister is easy to clean with a hose and the lid snaps on quick with 4 fasteners. The filter is good quality and easy to change or clean. The only real downside to this device is a lack of an optional blower. Battery time is not great, but I have four batteries and I will use two or three of them to finish my task. It is a trade off. Ryobi could have made the batteries last longer using a less powerful motor with less suction. But I prefer strong suction so am able to live with changing the battery while I work. This is a very useful tool and I have no regrets purchasing it.
