I purchased this Coolaroo Elevated Pet Bed for my three cats. One of my cats is very long and very tall so a standard cat bed size is way too small for him. The product is everything it advertises. The one thing I did not expect or anticipate is the feel of the material. Independent of each other at different times my cats got on the bed and each of them reacted the same way. They did not like the feel of the bed on the pads of their feet. I kept it out hoping they would get on it. Nope. They went under and around it. Then when I put a folded beach towel on it, they would use it. So, on one hand they have a raised bed, but on the other they do not get the cool air flow that the bed is designed to provide.

This was a replacement for a different brand of an elevated bed. My pug loved her old one but she has scratched it so much (you can see the filament on the floor), we were worried about it breaking through. We bought a different brand that was a little smaller and the only time she would go on it was if we put her on it. She would wait a few seconds and jump off. With the Coolaroo, she jumped up on it, just as if it was her old one. She even took "Elmer the Elephant", her favorite toy, up to rest with her. It is a little narrower than her old one, but that's great. The old one was a little to wide to fit nicely in the spot in the foyer. She likes it and we like it so everyone is happpy.

As soon as I put it together, which was very easy, my dog jumped right on it. I put it in her outdoor kennel and whenever we say "kennel up" she goes straight to it and is on it when we get back. She made a mess on it accidentally once when she got upset over the mower and had stepped in her poo, it sprayed right off with the garden hose. Very good product and very readonable price.

My Dog weighs about 45 lbs. and this Medium size bed is more than enough for her size. Took a little time to get her off her old bed to the New but once she tried it that's all it took. Great quality seems it will last a long time. Glad you can replace the cover if you ever have to not the entire bed.

bed was exactly what I ordered. assembly was tougher than I thought it would be .( 4 screws and its done) fabric is stretched pretty tight when inserting the last screw. I'm getting old and my finger strength isn't what it used to be. And when I would get that last screw in the bed would be kinked. I didn't dare force it level because I was afraid I might strip the holes or otherwise damage it. Finally after many trys I decided I HAD to get tough and force it. So far so good . Bed is standing level on four legs. My dog has no complaints.
