These posts fit into a Nashville style threading perfectly and enable perfect installation of an ABR-1 bridge. I decided to change to a vintage style bridge on my Gibson Les Paul Tribute due to the strings coming into contact with the back of the original Nashville bridge behind the saddles. According to forums and other people I'd talked to this is bad for the strings and possibly reduces the strings' ability to return properly to pitch during a bend. I did not want to top wrap over the tailpiece because I liked the heaviness of the break angle over the saddles, which also improves sustain. This was the perfect solution. The strings completely clear the back of the ABR bridge and only touch at the saddles like they're supposed to. I'm extremely happy with this conversion kit and I highly recommend it!Read full review

These studs don't fit into the Nashville bridge stud threads, look like they will fit a metric guitar though. The other end is too small for an abr-1 bridge. The thread count matches but the diameter is smaller, must be a #5-32 whereas an abr-1 takes a #6-32 post. They look like they are good quality, but they don't fit the application.
