I you only bought one Kraftwerk album, this would be my recommendation. The album is timeless and can be played all the way through without having to skip for less decent tracks.

I've owned the cassette of Kraftwerk Computer World since the 1980's and it still works. I wanted to listen to Computer World on my MP3 player so this is was perfect way to do it. The sound on the CD is like quadrophonic just as with the cassette tape. Every track sounds new every time I listen to it. I hear today's music in this CD even though it was recorded in the 1980's. Listen to it with a good sound system and the depth of sound and mixing comes through. Uno Dos Tres Quatro means totally amazing music. I wish Kraftwerk did another album that matched this one. The version I am reviewing has 7 tracks on it from 1981. I see there is a CD available of Computer World from Canada with an 8th music track.

By the time Computer World hit the scene, Kraftwerk had acquired quite a following and their influence had inspired countless bands to experiment with synthesizers. Even with all the electronic music out there, Computer World pushed the limits and broke new ground. In 1981 the PC was an unknown concept to most people but Kraftwerk were (as usual)looking to the future. Fans were blown away by their vision of a completely computer driven society. Brilliant, catchy, and still amazingly cool. A must own for all fans of electronic music.
CD was brand new and in shrink wrap. Played perfectly. Back of CD case had a crack across it.

Kraftwerk is not like any groups currently. It is machine music but way different than anyone else.
