You wouldn't want anything smaller than this unless you had no choice, this is about 1/2 a regular dryer size. The default settings are perfect, no need to change them, since it's only 110 volts, it does take longer to dry, about double the time, so I put a load in from my 2.1 cubic feet washer and if it's a very light load, 1 hour, medium heaviness then 1 1/2 hours, heavy load 2 hours, like towels and jeans, they take about 2 hours, but better than walking outside to the pay washer and dryer or trying to get it when others want it. Doesn't come with a dryer hose, you have to buy that, I clamped on a 4 inch round hose, the one that looks like foil, not the hard aluminum kind, (if you get the harder aluminum kind then maybe you will need an adapter since the hole is not 4 inches on the dryer) and it sealed down and works good, looks like the outlet on the back is probably 3 1/2 inches but the 4 inch hose sealed ok after tightened up. I expected link to come out the hose so I added a lint trap on it but no lint comes out so a lint trap is not really needed but it works good to have that lint trap at the end of the hose and then just set it in the window. It needs to be vented, don't try to run it in the room, this is moist air, you can't have moist air running in your house, that needs to go outside somehow, so I open a window and I have it running out the window. Lint trap inside the dryer is hard to pull out the first time, after that then it's easy, you just pull straight out and push it back in. I seem to get less lint than with a regular size dryer. Only one thing I wish was better is the hinge on the door, it's plastic painted silver, that really should be metal but as long as you are careful probably it will not break otherwise it's built pretty good, the noise is about the same as a regular size dryer, when outside my window I can hardly hear it. It's about 57 pounds so it needs to be on the floor or on a little stand, you can't put this above the washer on one of those stands, it's too heavy. It does come with some kind of a wall bracket but I really don't think this should be mounted on a wall.Read full review

This machine works good it easily dries any load from our 1.6cuft washer on high heat extra dry it takes about 1.5 hrs. The machine shakes around a fair amount with larger loads. Probably why they want you to wall mount it lol 4/5 stars

It does take about 2 hours to dry like 5 pair of jeans but it does the job. It's quiet and handy when you live on a small apartment It's a good brand!
