Should have upgraded to a portable unit for that price
I probably would not have purchased this model if I had seen and heard it in person. It's okay for the price but I wished I would have found a portable model for the same price. It is a compact model with all the features advertised. Unless you turn the bass on, it sounds "tinny" a bit. It has an alarm feature also.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

MINI BUT MIGHTY!!!
Being accustom to big name brands, thought this might be a major disappointment. However just the opposite...as this small, tiny unit does deliver. Have it on a stand in my computer/library room and the sound fills this medium size room with power and clarity. Surprised even " picky" me. The tone is pleasing and only had to turned it up just under the mid-point. The radio, I might add doesn't have those string up wires and plays very well as is. Easy to set-up, set the clock, very simple, not difficult to understand controls. I would highly recommend for smaller areas/rooms. It has a very small remote which almost missed as was in slot outside the packaging on the side, not inside. SURPRISING SOUND
In view of the price I did not expect this unit to be of really good quality. It has a good appearance but I am not sure how long a life span it will have. It does have rather good sound for such a small unit, and it is very compact if you have limited space. - the speaker cords are short, limiting spacing of the speakers; - the connections are not standard male/female so you cannot use different speakers readily or make the cords longer; - the remote does not have all functions on it. - the bass resonance is a little weak Time will tell on this unit, but, again, consider the price and enjoy the level of good sound that you get.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Exactly as described ! I love it. No, the remote doesn't control the sound, but that's fine. I knew that when I ordered it. I'm old enough to remember when there were no remotes. It is in my living room/office and getting up to adjust the volume is no problem, in fact I need to get up and move now and then. It is really cute and the sound is just right for my room. No sound
So excited my wife got me a stereo for my Small garage she surprised me early for my birthday!! Unfortunately I go to hook it up no sound LED lights up alarm works I can change the time but still no sound obviously can't hook it up wrong due to certain connection it has.
