"Machintosh...Paul Machintosh...from Paramount."
"New York, New York is a wonderful town"...especially when you are given the grand tour by the chairman of the board himself. Frank baby has a swingin' apartment, swingin' girls, note three of them and knows all the tricks. In this delightfully funny situation comedy, Frank shows his square kid brother (Tony Bill) the ropes in being thee new playboy on the block. Kid brother has successfully gone over the wall, away from said parents that drive ya nuts in the first 10 mins. First order of business, a drink. A scotch & ginger ale to help young Tony Bill get over the bomb that is gonna drop when dad finds out. Second on the list, are new clothes. Third, and most importantly, a date and a cover story. As all of Tony's wishes are coming true, Frank baby has his ... "New York, New York is a wonderful town"...especially when you are given the grand tour by the chairman of the board himself. Meanwhile, back at the penthouse, Tony Bill's action out does (literally) himself and Frank's with a slew of party people which starts off with his basketball girl guest. Wow mamma! A ladder needed for a peck on the neck! This does wonders for Franks mopes ("cha cha chah") and he is driven to choose whether or not to stay a "bum" or get married. As Frank passes the torch, he tells Tony baby how he is able to afford that great apartment. It took a while for this movie to get released onto DVD. Now after a few years, affordable, this popular play and lost Frank Sinatra hit is here to stay. The fun humor never really stops rolling. If you are not used to the quick wit of a Neil Simon film then you will quickly be left in the dust. The script plays out at warp speed when compared to later Simon comedies.

'Barefoot In The Park' his first play introduced Jane Fonda and Robert Redford to the Broadway audiences and when it was captured on film the whole viewing population where the motion picture was distributed. Frank Sinatra, Tony Bill, Molly Picon and the whole cast provided a winning film .It is worth seeing more than once.'Come Blow Your Horn' is Neil Simons second play and it is captivating and is worth viewing multiple times.
