I am on a Search and Rescue team and needed a better method to carry communication equipment other than clipping it on my backpack. I also had another need of re-positioning my concealed weapon because keeping it on the hip was causing discomfort. I looked at several different types of chest harnesses, but this one had the large pocket that would allow me to store my weapon. I also recommend the slanted carry because if it is a vertical holder, the radio antenna will poke you in the neck repeatedly. One thing I noticed is that if you are larger, then the straps may be tight, so be alert. I wear a 42 jacket size and I used all the adjustment on the straps.
