The most difficult part was disassembling the old rear seat from my '99 DS. Mine had a fixed rear seat, not a sweater basket. Installing the new rear seat was pretty straightforward. Some of the directions could have been a little more clear but easy enough to figure out. All in all a great result and a very nice upgrade to my cart.

A very complete, solid rear fold-down seat kit for 1982 to 2000 Club Car DS carts
Well built, solidly engineered. The instructions could be a little clearer in some parts but if you're mechanical, it's easy enough to figure out. Since my cart (1999 Club Car DS) did not have a "sweater basket) as many of them do, it was just as big a challenge removing the old stationary seat that had been on the cart for 21 years. Once that was done, the installation of the new flip-down kit was pretty straightforward. Very glad I opted for the kit with the aluminum diamond plate cargo bed too. The "buff" color seat vinyl is also almost a perfect match for the old seats on my cart. An added bonus - the angle of the front seat backs is tilted slightly back with the new brackets, and they provide a more comfortable driving position. This is a very complete kit and everything you need ... Well built, solidly engineered.
