Extremely minor damage to packaging- probably the same amount if I was the original owner. Discs are in remarkable shape- no scratches. I have yet to find time to sit and watch them, but am not anticipating any problems. Thank you for having them. I used to watch this show on Saturday afternoons and when I saw it was available on DVD, I had to add it to my slightly out of control DVD collection. (over 1000).

The show is a classic rare GEM!!!!! Sci-Fi GRRRRRRRLLLLL Power with AfroCentric Lead. If you LOVED Xena Warrior Princess, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Dollhouse, ALIAS and anything starring PAM GRIER; THIS is for you! It's like a cool Saturday Morning style show with the heart & earnest "camp" of the ORIGINAL Star Trek but sexier and cooler. Discs are clean, sound is crisp, visuals are bright & clear. Box is immaculate. Price was a STEAL. S&H was standard, using good old U.S. postal snail mail and it arrived in a flash. So very very HAPPY. Thank You. Nobody is streaming this or selling this. You Rock!

I purchased this DVD set solely because it starred Gina Torres after reading comments about it on a Firefly fan website. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not nearly as campy as I expected (especially considering the premise-“stripper seeking boob job goes under anesthesia and wakes up 500 in the future” 😂). Not surprisingly Gina’s acting is so natural. She neither overacts nor underacts, so you feel comfortable with her immediately. The only main character that ever overacts is the one who plays Cleopatra, but in my mind she’s not really the star of the show, so I can put up with it by concentrating on Gina, who plays Hel, and Victoria Pratt, who plays Sarge. Some different story lines involving aliens that take a human and use them to make a duplicate killer robot that has your memories, emotions, etc. If you’re really into special effects, then you’ll be disappointed in this, but other than that I would say it is definitely a sci-fi series worth watching. I don't personal remember them on TV but those old serial shows with a cliffhanger at the end of each segment. This was one segment of a syndicated show. It reminds me of Buffy because it has young beautiful woman trying to save the world. As the title suggest this is set in the distant future on Earth with most of humanity living underground hiding from the alien machines know as Baileys. Cleopatra is a young woman from our time that died on operating table during breast implant surgery. She wakes up just before her organ were to be harvested. The other two attractive women of the show decide to rescue her from this fate. She tends to be more trouble than she is worth but she does have one talent an ability to mimic voices. The plots are over the top but it is very campy. Most of the clothing in the future is very revealing. I did get pulled into watching the whole series. This is not the best show but it does have flair.Read full review
In the future, (year 2525), the year this is set in. A group of underground humans is trying to save themselves from robots that have taken over earth's surface. The short lived series episode one starts when the title charactor known as Cleo is awoken from an induced slumber. Supossedly she was put into cryogenic sleep because of an operation gone bad back in the past. Why she woke up fine and in perfect health is a mystery, but, so is everything else in this awkward, offbeat, futuristic comedy/drama. The rest of the series is sorta clever, pretty predictible, and kinda enjoyably anoying. The episodes were 1/2 hour long and too much was cramped into that short 1/2 hour, (about 23 mins ea.) It's as if it were originally an hour episode and all but the most un-important parts were cut out. It's empty as far as charactor building goes and tries hard to be slick, fast paced, and sexy. What happens is an uneven storyline and too many loose ends. Reminds one of the 1960's Batman series. You either love it or you hate it. No middle road here.Read full review
