I hemmed and hawed and hesitated, waiting for a good price, or a space in my home to materialize where I could hang my heavy bag, but neither came to fruition, so I finally relented and spent the $150+ (inc. tax). Well, the bottom line is it was money well-spent. I (a fully grown male and strong kicker) and my daughter (a less strong, but higher kicker) now use this tool almost daily. Both of us can knock it over (filled full of water) with a full-power kick, but, guess what? You don’t have to kick full power to get a great workout. But if that’s what you want to do, just have someone hold the other side. Just like in the dojo. The plastic base initially worried me, but it’s strong and holding. Now that I think about it, the same ones are used in the dojo always hold up despite severe beatings. Verdict: if you don’t have great place to hang a heavy bag, this is the solution for martial artists, even grown adults. I wear myself out punching and kicking it enough to tip it, but not knock it over. I think you’ll be pleased with the results.Read full review

I hit the bag and have water in it. It moves when you hit it, so have space behind it so it has room to move. I have it in the garage, using for exercise and when I am angry using it for a release. MMX gloves and compression gloves now to protect my hands. Lovin it the female that I am. But really wish I would of bought the one where I could of kicked too.

It is a very good training bag. I have had several of them over the last 30 years.

The product is good for teenagers and young adults but not for strong adults in martial arts. I did a three side slide kick the other day and almost broke it.
