    I used this (with mods) on a 2 cycle ry251ph trimmer

    I modded the muffler on my 25.4cc 2 stroke ryobi trimmer for more power(original carb cannot be adjusted on its hi). I had to do some shaping on its plastic body, added 2 o-rings, and switched out fuel lines with longer ones. On this carb I shaved straight slots on the Hi & Lo(Lo is on top throttle link- did shave into the plastic a little- but no harm done....unavoidable) using a small diamond cut off wheel on dremel. I did have to adjust both settings, but it runs great now!! thanks to this carb

    Works good so far but not exact fit and fuel lines are too short

    This is working well so far but does not exactly fit my ryobi C430 model although it does say that it is a proper replacement for a RY34421 Carburetor. I had to purchase longer fuel lines since the ones that came with it were too short. Also, the throttle cable needed to be rigged to work well since this carb setup is a little different from factory installed one.

    Perfect fit!!

    Bolted right up. Put gas in it, and primed a couple times. Started first pull and actually idled with no adjustments. Pretty impressive, as we're at high altitude and these little engines are very finicky about mixture. My customer was very pleased to get his trimmer back without a major investment. ;)

    Great

    My Ryobi i 4-stroke weed eater has been a piece of junk ever since the day I got it. It was so hard to start I finally bought a new weed eater and through this one in the trash. Before the trash man came I just happened to look on eBay and found this carburetor for $11 and thought I would give it a try. Now the weed eater starts up first or second full everytime and runs great. I wish I would have found this carburetor before purchasing the new weed eater.

    Wish the throttle was identical to my original. Price was right, though.

    Unfortunately, the throttle connection was not compatible with my linkage. This carburetor was not an identical replacement for the model I ordered, although the ad said it was. It required me to modify the linkage connection on the carburetor.
