Having already tried most of the chocolate bars available in this assortment in the past, I bought it because of the value and to sample the chocolate bars I had never tried before. I am a fan of the Wunderbar but the other ones didn't really " wow " me. The Mr. Big bar is a a somewhat generic alternative to a Nestle Lion bar and tastes almost identical to one but it is much bigger in size and I can't really say it's that good. The Crispy Crunch is delicious but it is too crunchy for my tastes and you can buy the Reese's Crispy Crunch in the States which is practically the same candy bar but has a much better taste, better texture and is a better value. I didn't like the Crunchie bar because it is too crisp but it didn't taste bad. The Cadbury Caramilk is a somewhat superior version to a Cadbury Caramello bar but again it left a little bit to be desired. In the end I will buy the Wunderbars and perhaps the Caramilks again but not the other ones so that's that. Are these bars all superior to what you can find in the U.S.? On that point I say YOU BET, the taste of these candy bars is far superior to what you can find in the U.S. because they are manufactured according to Canadian standards which are more lenient and produce better chocolate than you can find the U.S. It's just a matter of personal preference for me but I would definitely take a Crunchie over most U.S. chocolate bars any day of the week.Read full review
