Why am I writing a silly review for pots? THEY'RE POTS FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD! Look, if you buy these CTS pots based on what interweb monkeys have to say, we're all doomed as a society, okay. Read the damn specs and decide if these are right for your application (probably a Tele). Do NOT pay attention to reviews that say these pots "sound" better.

There lots of potentiometers and as a guitar technician I have tried them all, but I will always recommend these 450g’s for Telecasters as a great and economic replacement, if a customer wants the best, there are superior ones out there, but it’s going to cost, overall these will work just fine, unless your going to perform along side Kieth Richards or Brad Paisley, be sure to CHECK your readings before you install them for 250k% tolerance, the closer the better

When it comes to wiring up a new harness for your Strat or Tele, these CTS dish-back pots are the best! I've tried them all, but these have the feel and response I like the most. And audio taper its the only way to go. They adjust the volume and tone to correspond to the way or ears hear sound. Linear is no good for guitars. A set of these and a carefully chosen cap and you got everything you need to make a first class control plate for your favorite instrument!

I've used many CTS pots and never gotten a bad one. Tried saving a few bucks buying other brands, but I don't make that mistake anymore. Consistent high quality.

CTS makes quality components. The potentiometers are smooth and quiet and last for years. I have some instruments with the original pots that are from the 1960's. These new parts will outlast me if cared for.
