These seem to have mixed reviews, but the 4 I have seem to work wel. I bought four of them and connected them to a Protoneer Raspberry PI CNC hat. It works very well. I did a test cut that took about a 1/2 hour to run on my CNC and they didn't miss a step. Much better than the Pololu drivers I used before this. The configurability of these drivers is impressive, and much better than a potentiometer like other drivers use. Watch the settings and test them with small steps as a wrong setting can send your gantry crashing to the edge.

I have built 2 cnc machines, and used many different flavor drivers and this is far and beyond the worst. The documentation is poor at best, excitation mode is well, no one seems to know, and the output signal is incredibly choppy. It overheated my NEMA 17 within a minute. I used the exact same setup with another higher quality controller and it was flawless. Of the two I purchased one immediately released its magic blue smoke, and the other one is just plain old bad. Yes, i checked my configs. I'm not some kind of novice. also, neither came with screws for the heat sinks. They had fallen of IN THE SHIPPING BOX!. Do yourself a favor and don't get one, or two, of these.

I received two driver boards. No hard copy documentation received except printing on pcb. The first board blew up almost immediately. Correct voltages applied. Power to ground is short. I found out that the voltage to the motor and the board are applied at the same time, not correct according to TB6560 documentation. The board has a design flaw. I want to correct the design flaw on the board but I need a schematic of the board. I will make the changes myself. If you cannot provide a schematic, then I want a refund. This controller is useless. Too much noise and missing steps. Don't think about buying one unless you can change his oscillation capacitor (smd cap) . I changed the one on board with a 100pf ceramic one and works like a charm
