I need parts... lots of parts, for an optics project that requires some quality mirrors and a prism or two. These used cameras were an excellent deal and a great source of components for my project. A starving student, like me, can't afford to buy premium-priced laboratory-quality optics. Used/broken cameras and lenses are a great resource for projects of many kinds - it just takes a little work and a good screwdriver to get at them. I hope that the cameras and lenses I am re-purposing have previously had a happy life, took many pictures, and were loved. I sincerely appreciate their sacrifice.
Amazing camera, almost exact layout as modern DSLR cameras, yet due to their age they're prone to sticky shutters.

I am very keen on photography and I have a Canon Digital camera but I wanted to compare the output of the two cameras and I am very happy with the outcome. I feel that the film camera often displays a slightly better pic.I have my own PHOTO MAKER and this adds to my link in photography The only difference between the two camers is that with the film camera I cannot plug into my pc and view the results.
Don't forget getting battery. It's really difficult to find a battery.
