Buh-bye, butter chunks!
Now my husband doesnt use a stick of butter for 2 waffles! This product could delay the hardening of arteries from butter chunks, concentrated in one area of the waffle. Smooth, even application. This item is made of heavy (not cheap) plastic. Simple design. Purchased specifically for waffles. Neat and easy to clean. Wish I would have thought of it sooner.

This replaces a similar corn butterer that we'd had for years before it eventually wore out. Simple but effective, dishwasher-safe. Reduces waste and mess during corn-on-the-cob season: the butter stays on the corn, and any unused butter is refrigerated right in the holder. The top isn't quite as easy to get hold of as the one on our old butterer, but that's a minor quibble. Exactly what we needed
A half-stick of butter fits perfectly. No more messy fingers when holding a partially-unwrapped stick to spread a light coat of butter. Do not have to refold paper wrapping around a stick, and butter stays fresher in the fridge without touching any other items. I use a needle-nose pliers to remove the spent pusher from deep inside the holder when time to refill.

Item is well made. Sturdy. Cold butter slides in easily on first loading. Once used, the butter is soft and then hardens in the refrigerator. Upon removal from refrigerator, it will be very difficult to push the butter thru the spreader. However, putting the spreader on the warm corn melts and softens the butter so it slides easily in the spreader. Also includes cover to protect the butter when not in use.Item is well made. Sturdy.
