However, the base ingredient for Boswellia Serrate Extract is Maltodextrin. Maltodextrin has a high glycemic index (GI) value causing blood insulin spikes. Worse: research suggests it may reduce gut probiotics and increase pathogens causing damage to the intestines, increasing inflammatory bowel disease. It may enhance survival of salmonella bacteria as well. I suggest the company revise their formula and not use Maltodextrin anymore.
