Does what it says.
This light gun is clearly not as well built as the old nes zappers. The plastic feels cheap, the blaster is not weighted, and the trigger pull does not have the satisfying click. The trigger is also very thin feeling. However, it works well. It scores hits just as well as my original zapper, and it hits where it is aiming. If you don't want to spend the extra money on an original or something with better build quality this will do just fine. It's ok...
Let's just start by saying that this item does work, but in the end you get what you pay for. Now, for some criticisms. First, the gun feels cheap and light. It is a bit smaller than the original Nes zapper and much lighter. The trigger pull is also not very satisfying at all (compared to the original). Next is the accuracy. In Duck Hunt, if you shoot anywhere near the ducks at all, you'll get a hit. Hogan's alley was (no pun intended) hit or miss even with the gun right up against the screen. Freedom force worked OK but for some reason when the gun is plugged in, the intro doesn't play. Now, maybe my unit is a bit defective, but this is what I got. I wouldn't really recommend this unless you really just want to casually play duck hunt in the cheap.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
