I've had bad luck with previous "flat" indoor antennas for my bedroom HDTV. No matter where I'd position them, they failed to pull in all of the major channels, especially the local ABC network, which is low-band vhf. It doesn't help that I live next to a park and not far from an airport. Well, this antenna does a wonderful job. It was a breeze to set up, and I quickly found a place for it that pulls in over 45 channels, including the low-vhf one, with excellent reception. (My former antennas got 25-29 at the most, on a non-windy day.) Even when a plane flies by, the picture barely flickers for a few seconds (it used to disappear completely). Besides the fact that it works so well, the antenna is attractive, lightweight and very easy to position for optimal viewing. I'm so glad that I decided to give it a try, and I highly recommend it.Read full review

I am not a tech savvy person. This is easily put together. I needed a way longer cord and I also picked up the amplifier for its the picture was spotty, but the picture is now nice and I no longer have a cable bill. My boyfriend thought I should have gotten a square one, but I like the look of this on my wall, it's kinda like a piece of art.

Signals all came in well. Sometimes with high winds, the TV signal breaks up. But this is because of the 60 foot trees on the property, for which the house is dwarfed, and the antenna well below tree tops. So it is not the antenna's fault, but rather the geography and landscape. The house is in an urban area, so the TV station towers are all within 10 miles, which also makes a difference. Was able to get a bunch of other stations I did not realize were transmitted by the station (on the sub channels). It is a great antenna, and I hide it behind books in the bookcase next to the TV. I have no complaints - it exceeded my expectations, for being so small and compact.

I purchased two of these antennas without amplifiers and set them at different angles to get a wider signal. I attached a short section of RG 6 cable to each and then attached the two cables to a splitter which then supplied a joined reception to my TV.
