The author was a speaker at a business conference I attended June 2006. His people management techniques, similar to 'managing by walking around' so impressed me that I bought the book as soon as I got home. He advocates listening to the low man on the totem, the real hands-on employee who often has very valid ideas on ways to streamline the business and save money. Read it.
The book has many highlighted markings in it. Almost every page. It does get very distracting. Also this book is really boring to read!
