I have owned quite a few mowers in my life as I had a property that was 1/3 acre of very thick zoysia grass. All of the mowers were gas powered. Since retirement I moved and now have a small patch of green in the back yard that doesn't need such a powerful mower, so I decided to get an electric. I was happy with a used Black and Decker that I acquired for a few bucks years ago. It still works, but I decided to buy a new Black & Decker as it was on sale and I liked a lot of the features. First off is safety. The mower allows you to select a cutting height with one lever! Next you attach your electric cord and your ready to start. This mower requires that you pull back a retractable safety handle and hold it as you mow. You do this first and then push a button to start the motor. The mower shuts off as soon as you let go of the retracted safety handle. I found that this mower was strong enough to cut my grass and bag it without any strain. The cuttings were so fine that it looked like it could be in a spice rack! The outside edge guides the mower against cutting too close to objects. Mower bag lifts off and is attached in a jiffy. Cleans up (after you unplug it) with a quick rinse from you hose. Stores in a small space. You will enjoy using this product. Read full review

Great mower for smaller yards. Plenty of power for tall grass. If you let your grass get ridiculous you might be emptying the grass catcher on every stroke, but if you cut once a week and have a sunny lawn you can mulch. OBTW easy to start? You just turn it on!

I have a very small front yard. It was pretty overgrown. The mower was easy to assemble, worked great and tore thru the overgrowth very well. The cord is a pain, for jobs like mine, the inconvenience is outweighed by the sure start and the power. I have only used it once, but so far, I am impressed. EASY to fold up and put away.

Light weight. For the most part it can mow over tall grass as well as gas mowers. Because of its light weight, self propelling is not needed. Cord lock could be better. Easy to change cut height, only one lever to move an because of its light weight, very easy. Works withe 14 gauge 100 ft. Extension cord without problems. This is my second one. My first one lasted a couple of years and the brake locked up and th motor over heated.

It handles well and plenty of power to get the job done. I love the height adjustment lever. Easy to use. It worked so great that I did my neighbor's lawn as well! 👍👏
