I have had this for over a month now and used it several times. I have no complaints on how this works, it work well and the battery seems to last quite a while. It is fairly light considering the battery, but doesn't seem to be a strain to hold upright. At first i thought i was going to have to hold both the power switch and the black tab( which allows you to start it) to keep it on, but that isn't the case-just the power switch once it gets started. The only complaint I have is that the handle will not stay locked in position and tends to move up one notch after using it for a while. Not sure if it's a certain movement i am making that is causing this because, when it try to wiggle the handle it feels secure, but it's happened a couple of times now. Didn't cause me any problems, just a surprise when it happens.Read full review

Blower is like a toy. It will barely blow grass or leaves off of my concrete. The trimmer is good. Blower is horrible. I don't believe the folks leaving great reviews can possibly be talking about the blower. The weed eater is great, the hedge trimmer is great. However the blower is a absolute joke, go with the 60v and you will appreciate the power. This does not blow even as well as the 20v.

Well made string trimmer and easy to use for my yard (I am not a spring chick anymore!). I like the versatility of the edger, which is easy to convert, and the blower which attaches easily and works great. The battery is easy to slide into the trimmer and to slide back into the charger, and I like that it may be left in until the next use. Also nice is the feature that lets me know how depleted the battery is in case I need to finish up quickly.

now understanding of course this is battery operated stuff they're fine for light stuff. the trimmer really uses the battery quickly and uses a small gauge line and has only a single line working. not field clearing quality but around flower beds it's fine. the blower is light and does a good jub blowing out out garage and my shop and blowing off the walkways but not really good for heavy leaf blowing, just not powerful enough. sometimes, though, you just need something instant on without pulling the string on a heavy gas blower, filling it up with gas and such. so,understanding their limitations they're perfect for small jobs,

The B&D LCC340C works without any issues for grass trimming/edging. For my size lot (1 1/2 acres) a single battery didn't last. This combo comes with only a single battery. I purchased a second battery independently. It goes without saying that you always need at least two batteries for all battery operated devices. I was able to get about 25-30 minutes for a single charge. I did not any trouble trimming around the garden and fence line. It's not too heavy to hold for an hour or more. I even got my wife to use the leaf blower on the deck since it's very light. She didn't won't our 4 year old grandson to out do her. He thought it was fun to blow all the leaves. For my purposes this was powerful enough for my yard. I would recommend this combo.
