The only really "negative" thing I have to say so far is that it took a pretty long time for this to get here from the time I bought it off E-bay considering it was only coming from California and not someplace like China. That is the only reason I give it a 4 and not a 5 I have used it twice since I got it and only used it to make "shake&bake" chicken and it works well, cooks to an internal temp of 180 4 leg quarters in 30 minutes at 350. Next time I make burgers I will see how it does with fries Other brands, way more EXPENSIVE make big deal about the fact they have digital control for the temp and the timer but with the "analog" thermostat you can set the temp once and then until you cook something else and you need to change it it will stay just how you left it. Maybe over time the mechanical timer will fail but a digital timer may as well and long as it then still works as basic "on/off switch" it is not like I can't use the timer on my microwave or get a simple mechanical kitchen timer. One thing I have found is that if I put in a stoneware/crockware type of dinner plate that just fits in the bottom it will catch all the juice and other drippings and it can be easily removed once it has cooled off and then cleanup of the inside of the glass bowl is easy, just wipe it out with a damp sponge or kitchen towel. The plate goes easily in the dishwasher plus you have the drippings for making gravy or really chicken flavored yellow rice. Read full review

The cooking times are way off--take at least 50% longer. Propaganda fails to tell you food needs turning. Food does not cook through evenly even when it is turned and given extra time. Chicken breast overcooks on the thick area and remains raw near bone. Fries are cooked on top side but mushy inside. Warning on device says that the lamp will cycle on and off during cooking--well not on mine. What are you supposed to do with the very hot top while you turn the food? Good design would provide a hinge or at least a place to hold the top while turning food. Very large glass bowl is difficult to hold; no rim or handles to grasp. Just a matter of time before it slips out of my hands--hate to think of the replacement cost. It would be an opportunity however to junk the whole thing. Now I have this large, marginally useful utensil that won't fit into any cupboard occupying a valuable piece of real estate on my kitchen counter. Not worth the price or the agro. Read full review

While somewhat skeptical of an Air Fryer I decided to purchse this for our anniversary. It has exceeded our expectations. It does everything claimed and does it exceptionally well. Have even done Liver and Onions with the Big Boss and it turned out great. We have done a number of meals cooking several items at once and loved how everything turned out so tasty. There is a small learning curve to using but is rapidly learned without a PHD in air frying. I recommend the Big Boss to anyone wanting to enjoy 'frying' without the mess of frying.

This Fryer is the best. Everything cooked comes out delicious. From chicken, salmon, and French fries. You could never get a taste like that from a deep fryer. It’s healthy because of less grease but fun because it’s still fried.
