I loved these books because they didn't hide anything, she was blunt and said everything exactly like it is. answered embarassing questions and didn't sugar coat anything. Made me realize that everything that I thought I was the only one going through it, everyone has the same issues when pregnant. And also made it fun going through the hard and easy times. Made me laugh the ENTIRE way through!! Easy reading and perfect on all her topics. She even said, "I'm not an expert, this is just my opinion so take it or leave it." and "This happened to me.... so if you went through it, you are not alone. If you didn't go through this that's normal too." Which is exactly what a pregnant woman wants to hear. Would recommend this book to all my friends. Wait, I already did and there is already a waiting list on who can borrow my copy next!!Read full review
I loved this book I actually read this book and baby laughs all in one day. If you start reading it you can't put it down. Jenny Mccarthy goes through the same things every woman goes through even if some of us might not like to admit it. She really just comes out and puts it the way it is she holds nothing back. This book is good for any woman I think if you are pregnant, thinking of becoming pregnant, already had a baby (like me), or just want a really good laugh then this is a very good book for that. It does have a few chosen words not for little ears but it is very funny and I loved it. I can't wait to read life laughs next...
I'm more of a shy person and don't like OUT LOUD people and I don't like people talking about inappropriate things BUT this book was just what I needed. All the things that I would be too afraid or embarrassed to ask about was in there, and telling you that you are not alone. It also let you know what to expect so you don't freak out when it does happen. I didn't like that she sweared through the book but it's not that big of a deal. Overall I really liked the book, I couldn't put it down. There were parts where I was even laughing out loud!
Jenny McCarthy is definitely bold and open about her experience in this book. But you know, sometimes it's good to know the honest truth so that you don't get any surprises. Sometimes it's better to know what's really coming instead of having someone sugar coat it. I loved this book. Got it and couldn't put it down. If it wasn't because I had to be somewhere the night I got it, I probably would of finished it that same day. It's a little gross sometimes but definitely really funny. I totally recommend it for all the preggy's.
I loved this book. It was like sitting there and talking with a friend about your pregnency! It was easy casual reading. I couldn't put it down. She is so funny and so blunt through the whole book, and I loved that about it. No one ever talks about the scary and funny and also imbarrassing part of being pregnet and she does. I am a bigger fan of hers for it. I do recomend every women who has had a child, who is pregnet now and who is thinking about having a child should read this book. You willl truly feel better knowing other women have experince the same thing as you did.
