It Works! And given price that is amazing
I should say, that I am not hearing impaired. It works well enough to increase hearing of low sound levels. Some static is evident as you increase sound level. I use it as an aid when hiking trails taking photographs of wildlife and birds. The aid helps me to better hear birds and localize them in the trees. Given the price, I think it is excellent. As for someone with impaired hearing, I am not sure if it will be beneficial because it amplifies sound but not necessarily in the frequency range for a person with specific frequency impairment.

Hearing is good with it, but battery life is bad
For the price, the sound is good and it helps my mother to hear far better then what she did. The real problem comes from the poor battery usage. It burns through batteries FAST. If you need a short term solution, I would recommend. If long term I would look for something that does go two batteries every day.

The Bell Howell Micro Plus Sound AmplifierHearing AIDS that I purchased are wonderful! I can hear very well now with both hearing aids and I don’t have to tell people to please repeat what they say anymore. I have tried others and either they didn’t fit in my ears and would fall out or they just didn’t work like they were suppose too! Looks like Bluetooth and can hear very well
Received really fast and I love it! People including my doctor thought it was a Bluetooth. I can hear very well with it and I found out that I could also use the 312 hearing aid batteries with it to get longer wear. I cut around the edges of the part that goes in the ear so that it could fit better. I’ve had several of the older models that came with a rechargeable unit that is how I knew to do this to get a better fit! I loved those as well and they usually lasted 1 1/2 to 2 years. Hope this one does too! They were Bell & Howell too.So far I’m very impressed and will order this product again!

Natural amplified sounds but it needs replacement batteries daily
Sounds are amplified naturally so you hear like normal. Without it my hearing is only 10 to 20% of normal, but with it I can turn the radio and TV down and hear fine. Only downside is the battery life is about 10 hours depending on how high you turn the volume up. This is a great if it lasts. I purchase the rechargeable ones but they have a very limited time of use.

nice little device.
I love it. I am more than a little bit hearing impaired. I put this in with an ear hook to hold it up and I can carry on conversations just as well as with my hearing aids. I haven't tried it out at gatherings...ie lectures etc. but it seems to be a good alternative for me.

Extremely hard to get battery in then not a very long run time to full discharge It will not stay in the ear- You can't move your head without it falling out sound quality is very bad.at high volume Good It does amplify and if you can get by with a small amount of gain it does work.

There's good value in this product!
Price actual hearing aids & know they run thousands of dollars (for equipment that costs about 5.00 to manufacture. IF your hearing problem is temporary or simply minimal, I highly suggest this product! You'll be surprised at how functional it is....for a nominal price.

Poor product and quality
it came with dead battery. With new battery I purchased, it makes a clicking sound when switched to on, but sound is terribly low even when turned all the way up. Worse I have ever purchased. Not worth the trouble to return. I don't usually write bad reviews, but, I can't lie about this one, sorry.

Poor product
Bought this believing it would be decent quality. It worked well the first day and part of the 2nd day and then stopped working . It made a ticking sound and then a screaming sound and never worked again!! Very dissatisfied and disappointed 😔 it was not dropped or damaged, it is a major problem with your product. I would like a refund or send me another that works. Joanne Ludmer
