This lightbar is bright and has two brightness settings. The two brightness settings are not that different from each other. That being said, the lower setting will still light up a large room and give off enough light in case of a blackout, etc. I could see using it for camping, emergency lighting if stuck on the road, or a variety of things. It is lightweight and is supposed to last for 12 hours. I have not tested that out yet. Durability? Well I think if you dropped it, it would break. There is no rubber around it, just hard plastic and I do not think it would survive a fall on concrete. The stand is not very supportive, and it can tip over easily. But it is a nice bright portable light, so if you are careful with it, it will work out great!

No indicator letting you know when the charge is complete, also it does not really provide a suitable amount of light to use it for anything other than maybe taking out the trash. But with no suitable handle it is not even good enough for that. Absolutely no good features that I can see thumbs down for this product.

This light is very lightweight giving it a feeling of fragility. It is very bright and on a dark night cast a 40' pool of light after 2 hours on its highest setting it was noticeable dimmer but still bright. The switch settings are LO OFF HI instead of the more often used OFF LO HI. The kickstand will not remain extended on its own, and must be held in place as the light is set down. The handle that the light is hung by also will not remain extended and could prove a source of frustration if you were to try to hang the light in a high place. The light is uncomfortable to hold and cannot be used in the rain, but its not meant to be a handheld light, weatherproofing would have been nice though. I got this light as an emergency source of indoor light when the power fails during stormy nights and in that capacity it preforms admirably. Update: after a couple months owning this product I'd like to give an update. The lens cracked after a fall of less than 2 feet so I don't suggest dropping yours. More worrisome the light has begun turning itself on at times. I finally realized that since I was storing this one in an unheated area that the cold winter air was actually causing the contacts inside to contract, switching the light on and draining the battery. I store it inside now with no further problems. All in all, I wouldn't purchase this product again.Read full review

Judging by a couple YouTube videos I watched before buying, as well as some of the reviews I read, I was expecting it to be brighter than what it turned out to be. And there's barely a discernible difference between the high and low settings. And the SOS setting turns on the light, but doesn't strobe at all. At the price I paid(about $15) it's a decent light. I'm on the fence, however, as to whether I'd recommend it or not. If it's on sale(like around $15), I'd say yes. But much more than that, I'd say no. Overall, 3/5 stars.

Not really a bright light. I needed a work light in my garage and I really thought this might do the trick. I use a lot of LED lighting solutions and this one is not a great one. It might be great in an area that needs some soft lighting but it isn't good for working under. I have attached a picture of it with a dollar store flashlight with a single LED in it. That little light is much brighter than this fixture.
